Embracing Love, Peace, and Hope
We celebrated Valentine’s Day this month. I'm reminded of the profound importance of love and peace in our world today. Amidst the chaos and turmoil, there's a timeless symbol that encapsulates these virtues: Om.
Often referred to as the cosmic sound, embodies the essence of creation, preservation, and transformation. It serves as a powerful reminder of our interconnectedness with all beings and the universe itself.
In my recent series of small paintings, I've sought to capture the essence of Om, weaving its sacred symbol into each of the artworks. There's more to these than just imagery or brushstrokes. Each painting is crafted on swirled handmade paper, symbolizing the interconnectedness of all things and the ripples of energy that emanate from every act of love and peace.
Fueling my creativity further is the thrill of exploration—both in my craft and in the world around me. Venturing to new locales, immersing myself in diverse cultures, and experiencing a myriad of events all contribute to the rich tapestry of inspiration that weaves my work. I am fortunate to share this passion for discovery with my spouse, whose companionship serves as a constant source of inspiration.
