Planting Hope
I used a vibrant array of colors and organic shapes to evoke hope from nature. The composition is dominated by curving, plant-like forms in green to suggesting growth and vitality. These are interwoven with purple and blue elements to represent water and sky, essential life-giving forces. Yellow accents throughout the piece add a sense of energy and light. The fractured, mosaic-like quality of some areas symbolize the process of piecing oneself back together through healing, while the flowing, interconnected nature of the forms spark hope.
